Relates to the lease of house and land for 11 and 3/4 years in the area 5th from Green Street, London, [Leicester Square] by Hon. Charles Egarton to Sir Christopher des Bouverie. £10, 10 schillings per annum.
Addendum refers to responsibilty for possible repairs in the future. It measures 10" and is tightly tied w/ string on to the bottom of the main document and done in the same handwriting.
Nicely scalloped top edge with a large and elaborate flourish of handwriting of the beginning of the first T and the I. Contains the motto arranged in an oval "Honi soit qui mal y pense."
